Day Of Celebrations.....

Today, we concluded the week and prepared ourselves for the Spring Break with several celebrations, including the celebration of Navroz (New Year) commemorated by various communities around the world particularly by Shia Muslims.

NAVROZ CELEBRATION:
Ariana sharing the Iranian tradition of "Haft Seen" or Seven items beginning with the Persian alphabet "S" that are placed on the table as part of Navroz celebration.  Each one of them symbolizes some form of blessing in the new year ahead.

Ms. Salima and Khushi sharing the Navroz celebration by Ismaili Muslims around the world, where an egg is used for decoration as well as in cooking signifying new life or beginning of a new season.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ms. REBECCA: We also celebrated Ms. Rebecca's (early) Birthday today.  Students created a card for Ms. Rebecca and shared her favorite chocolate cupcakes!!  Now we are ready for Spring!
