Congratulations Cate!!

Each year the Birmingham Museum of Art celebrates Youth Art Month or YAM with a special exhibit of area student art work. For the month of March, all teachers from public and private schools in the Birmingham area can enter one piece of artwork to represent their school. This years' choice was "Tree of Dragon Life" by Upper Elementary student Cate Dawson. Cate's colorful painting on canvas was selected by Ms. Bev with help from Ms. Joan to represent our school. Cate is a very talented student with fantastic artistic abilities.  It is a very hard decision to choose just one piece from all the beautiful art created this year.

A reception was held earlier this month in honor of all the hard working and talented students.  The exhibit will be available for viewing the entire month of March.  You can enjoy the exhibit as a family outing to the museum and prepare to be amazed by all the talented students from the area.
