Upper El Science Fair Invitation

A science fair project is a presentation of an experiment, research and data analysis.  It shows the efforts of the students' investigation and provides a way for them to "show-off" what they have learned. 

Come witness what our students are discovering in the chemical, physical, and life sciences.  Please come join us for the Upper Elementary Science Fair THIS AFTERNOON (Wednesday, April 16th) from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Upper Elementary building.

"The Secret Garden" at the Birmingham Children's Theatre

After our long awaited field trip to Camp McDowell, we are ready for another field trip, but this time a short one.  Yes, that means more paper work. 

As you know that our Children’s Theatre Field Trip has now been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 15^th.  Permission forms were sent home in folders on Thursday.  We thank all those who completed and submitted the forms today.  If you haven't had a chance, please fill out the forms and send them back by Monday, April 14th.  Unfortunately, students without completed forms will not be able to accompany us to the field trip.  We appreciate your timely response in this matter!

We will be viewing the musical production “The Secret Garden” based on a novel by Frances H. Burnett.  In an exciting musical production of this familiar tale, Mary Lennox, a willful young orphan, is sent to live with her brooding uncle at gloomy Misselthwaite Manor.  Discovering a hidden, neglected garden, Mary plants the seeds of new life for all those drawn into her secret refuge.
